These very reasonably priced AFR 210 "Race Ready" small block Chevrolet castings are the most state of the art, fully ported, high performance cylinder heads currently available. The AFR LT4 #1057 cylinder heads feature the "Race Ready" version with 100% CNC ported 210cc intake runners, 80cc exhaust ports as well as 65cc combustion chambers. These castings feature the L98 angle plug location standard. The high flow exhaust ports are raised approximately 1/4 inch over stock GM L98 cylinder head location. (Verify header and chassis fitment)
The standard 23° valve angle and stem spacing makes this the perfect head for 350 to 400 cubic inch engines used in bracket racing drag cars, sportsman oval track and highly modified street cars operating between 3000 and 7500 RPM. Higher RPM ranges possible depending on combination of parts. No need for "one of a kind" custom pistons.
The AFR 210 "RR" series heads feature modern, high flow 210cc intake runners and efficient 80cc exhaust ports with a trademark 3/4” thickness deck which is ideal for high compression, nitrous or blower applications. The exceptional flow characteristics of this "Race Ready series cylinder head makes for serious power potential.
Standard valves are lightweight stainless steel 2.080" intake and 1.600" exhaust diameter valves with 8mm stems. Hardened ductile iron, interlocking valve seats for strength and longevity. Valvetrain consists of AFR 8000/PAC Racing 1.550" solid roller valve springs and chromemoly retainers as standard equipment. - .710" max lift. Upgrades and hydraulic roller valvetrain are available.
No special parts are required - Dual valve cover bolt pattern is standard.
The AFR #1057 LT4 cylinder heads feature standard exhaust port configuration and fastener spacing for all common header flanges.
