Are you looking for big torque and horsepower numbers? Then Air Flow Research's new 220cc aluminum cylinder heads will provide you with exactly what you need. These cylinder heads feature the largest intake and exhaust runner volumes for our inline valve Ford line up. The 220 Renegade heads are the ultimate for serious horsepower machines. Features include fully CNC ported 220cc volume intake runners and 80cc exhaust ports which are raised .375" higher than stock. AFR's trademark 3/4” thick cylinder head deck makes them ideal for heavy nitrous or forced induction applications.
The valvetrain consists of lightweight 8mm x 2.100" intake and 1.570" exhaust valves and PAC Racing solid roller valve springs. These large cross section runner cylinder heads move massive amounts of quality airflow. The dual quench pad design with 72cc combustion chambers complete the burn and allow for tremendous mid and high lift air flow. AFR’s new 220cc is the perfect choice for large bore 347 through 427 cubic inch engines operating between 4000 to 8000 RPM when coupled with the proper peripherals.
NOTE: 2.100" valves will require aftermarket pistons notched for valve clearance.
