FTI - GT40-K2 Beehive Valve Spring Kit
This special FTI beehive valve spring kit is designed as a direct replacement for stock, single springs used in most GT40 and certain factory cylinder heads. This spring kit was developed for the GT40-KR1-A camshaft used on GT40 iron heads which require a drop in "beehive style" valve spring.
Premium quality, U.S.A. manufactured springs. Hardened and machined valve locks, not cheap stamped ones as competitors use in their kits.
Because of the variables in stock cylinder head castings, you must be able to verify fitment and installed heights. This is considered an "easy to do" drop in kit and does not require any machining to the stock spring pockets however, all spring parameters MUST be verified. If aftermarket valves are installed with identical keeper groove locations, this kit can be fitted with the correct locks by just noting this.
