FTI - HR550 Hydraulic Roller Dual Valve Spring Kit
The FTI HR550 valve spring kit has been developed for hydraulic roller camshaft applications using the Trickflow Twisted Wedge 170 FAC cylinder heads. Street and endurance engines can benefit from this premium quality dual valve spring package. The TFS valve springs included in this kit have excellent fatigue life. Plenty of seat pressure but not too much over the nose at max lift. Works very well with our FTI 1087-HR-V3B hydraulic roller camshaft and the Twisted Wedge heads.
This "drop in" valve spring kit was developed as an easy and simple swap for the standard single springs installed in the Trickflow TW170 FAC cylinder heads. (TFS-16514-16) Great choice for endurance, street and racing style camshaft profiles. Lightweight chromemoly steel retainers and machined steel valve locks are strong and reliable for long life. Steel shell Viton valve seals are included for the best oil control.
The original cup style Trickflow spring seats (TFS-51400434) must remain to utilize this valve spring kit but are not included with this spring package.
