These "light-weight" titanium valve spring retainers are manufactured from the finest 6AL4V alloy for maximum strength and minimal warpage. The titanium alloy is heat-treated and processed to super-tight tolerances which makes the base material so strong that it is even used in the aircraft industry. While other manufacturers purchase titanium from metal brokers and produce “affordable” retainers, these titanium retainers will not deform under load. From a standing idle to the most extreme RPM, our titanium retainers perform flawlessly and without compromise.
