Dual Plane Manifold with the Powerful Air-Gap Design
Edelbrock has brought race inspired technology to the street, again! The RPM Air-Gap is a dual plane intake manifold with a dropped plenum divider that separates the intake runners from hot engine oil in the lifter valley. This provides a cooler, denser air/fuel charge for more power.
- Maximum Power/RPM Range: 1500-6500 depending on peripherals
- All Edelbrock Air-Gap manifolds are for non-EGR applications
- Accepts most accessory brackets, air conditioning, alternator and coil mount
- Manifold include rear water coolant outlets & dual distributor clamp locations
- The casting include nitrous bosses for fogger nozzles
Designed for maximum horsepower along with a broad torque curve for high performance street/track/off-road/marine. Provides power like a single plane and throttle response like a dual plane manifold.
The Edelbrock #7101 is approximately .70" taller than Performer #2101.
No provisions for exhaust-heated or stock-style choke. Accepts late-model water neck, air conditioning, alternator and HEI.
Will fit cast iron GM "Bow Tie" heads. Not for 1987-up cast iron heads. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.
