FTI GT40 "King of the Road" Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Kit - (KR2)
Due to popular demand, FlowTech Induction has developed this "GT40-KR2" small block Ford custom hydraulic roller camshaft profile and the matching valvetrain components. Developed and designed specifically for the popular GT40 and GT40P cast iron cylinder head combinations.
This "GT40-KR2" camshaft kit requires aftermarket headers with free flowing mufflers and exhaust system. Rear gearing should be 3.73 or steeper and manual transmission or automatic with a higher stall converter is required.
All our hydraulic roller camshafts require a coated steel, composite or OEM steel distributor gear. Also recommended is our FTI-CR2 modified camshaft retainer plate.

- Intake Duration @ .050" Tappet Lift: 218°
- Exhaust Duration @ .050" Tappet Lift 224°
- Intake Gross Valve Lift: .555" (1.60)
- Exhaust Gross Valve Lift: .536" (1.60)
- Lobe Separation: 110°
- RPM Range: 2300-6300
NOTES:
- Rocker arm geometry, lifter preload & push rod length (*) must be verified before starting the engine.
- Lifter preload is very important for maximum performance and must be checked & verified.
- All hydraulic roller camshafts are ground on the late model 302HO/351W firing order. (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8)
