Comp Ultra Pro Magnum Roller Rocker Arms - (BB Ford 1.70 Ratio)
These Comp Cams "Ultra Pro Magnum" roller rocker arms are designed for big block Ford 429-460 engines and the Boss 302 and 351 Cleveland applications. Not only do these rocker arms live up to the lofty standards of the original Pro Magnums, but they also take stud mount rocker performance, stability and value to a whole new level. The 8650 chromemoly material and high arched, web like design deliver increased strength and rigidity while still reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance. A unique black oxide exterior finish looks great and helps prevent corrosion as well as increases durability.
Featuring oversized roller bearing trunnions, precision sorted needle bearings and hardened roller tips for the ultimate in performance and dependability. Optimized retainer and valve spring clearances allow for the use of most large diameter springs, retainers and +.050" locks without clearance or fitment issues.
These Ford rocker arms feature a 1.70:1 ratio and require a 7/16" rocker stud diameter. Due to the larger trunnion bearing diameter, some cylinder heads require a slightly longer rocker stud for full poly-lock engagement.
